Diana Slonevska: “The strength of a woman is in the ability to love”

Diana Slonevska is the owner of the salon in the center of Europe, TOP hair expert and creator of training programs. A new interview on the pages of BOMOND VIP fashion about the value of knowledge, own history and trends of 2026 in the world of beauty. We talked about the weight of solutions that change everything, about the power of a modern woman who remains herself despite the demand for perfection, about the tandem of classics and trends, in which the main marker of 2026 remains the ability to love.

Ms. Diana, I am very impressed by your opinion that sometimes we do not even notice how small decisions change everything ... Please tell me, what is your story for the role of Top hair expert in Europe? And what were the first steps that left the greatest mark in memory and heart?

At the age of 26, I decided to completely change my life. My life was already a test at the beginning, when at the age of 17 I was given a son. Until 2015, she lived in a small village in the Kherson region. Then I felt that the time for change had come. I decided to move to the city of Nova Kakhovka and started studying to be a hairdresser. I was literally drawn in by this incredible field, although at the same time I was still working in a bar and raising my son.

Before I even finished my first year, I already went to work in a beauty salon - and that's when my new story began. Training, new acquaintances, constant trips to master classes and courses in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson... Every day my knowledge grew, and with them — the desire to do my work with the highest quality.

Later, I moved to another salon, received an offer to become a technologist of one brand, at the same time I was thinking about opening my own space. But 2022 changed everything: my city was under occupation. It was a time of uncertainty and fear. And yet, thanks to my clients who stayed in the city, I continued to work, albeit partially. The point was the moment when I had to cut a Russian soldier under the muzzle of a machine gun. Then I realized: enough. I packed my son, one suitcase with things and a bag of tools and went to the Czech Republic through the front.

In the new country, I did not allow myself to stop: four days after arrival, I started working in the salon. And after half a year I realized that I wanted more. I rented a place and started my own business. At the same time, she studied the language, laws, rules of life in a new country.

And it was here in the Czech Republic that I met my future husband. I shared with him my dream of my own beauty space and training for girls, but then I still doubted whether I would have enough strength. His support, as well as my son's words: "You can do it," became decisive. I bought the property rights over the salon where I rented the workplace. We do repairs at night, and I worked with clients during the day. Then I gathered a team of masters and took the first student. At first, the learning experience was not easy, but the desire to teach disappeared. But it was he who showed that I needed a mentor. At that moment I find out that I already have a new life under my heart. The support of my family does not give me time for doubts, but I go to training (mentoring). Thanks to mentoring, I realized: I want there to be more quality masters in Europe who will work with love and help women feel confident in themselves.

That's how I started my first hair extension training. After the first stream, there were requests for another course. This is how I prepare not only for the launch of the second stream of the course in November 2025, but also for the most important event in my life - the appearance of my daughter in September. This was the beginning of a new stage.

My story is the path from a small village to my own salon in the center of Europe. And it's just beginning.

A modern woman, in my vision, has traits that allow her to remain herself, even when the world around her demands perfection. How would you describe a modern woman through the eyes of your professional and personal experience? And what, in your opinion, helps her stay confident despite all the turbulence around her?

A modern woman for me is a combination of strength and tenderness.

She is able to simultaneously realize herself in the profession, to be a loving mother, wife, friend - and at the same time not to lose her own individuality. In my professional practice, I see that a woman's true confidence is born not from an ideal appearance, but from the ability to accept herself, emphasize her own uniqueness and not to succumb to the dictates of other people's expectations. The turbulence of the modern world will not be able to break those who believe in their value and allow themselves to be themselves.

Special respect deserves the fact that your work is not limited only to the art of a hair expert ... you also teach other masters. What inspired you to create your own field of study? What advice would you give to those who are just starting their journey?

I was inspired to create my own direction of learning to believe that knowledge has real value only when you share it. At the beginning of my journey, I lacked mentorship and support, and today I aspire to become the person I once lacked. For me, training is not only about technology, it is about the formation of a professional culture and the development of masters who can raise the level of the beauty industry in Europe.

For those who are just starting out, I would advise one thing: not to wait for the perfect moment, but to start today. The path opens only to those who go.

The world of beauty is constantly changing, but the tandem of classics and trends remains constant. What hairstyles and dyeing techniques do you think will be on the podium of popularity in 2026?

In 2026, in my opinion, the world of beauty will be dominated by trends that combine classic elegance with pronounced individuality. In the foreground will be hair that looks natural, has a depth of shade and a healthy shine, but does not require complex weekly care. Haircuts will remain functional and stylish at the same time - easy to style and allow you to change the look depending on your mood. The colors will be dominated by soft transitions and warm shades, complemented by bright accents for self-expression. And most importantly, healthy hair will be the main trend: its shine, texture and grooming will be of paramount importance.

In the modern rhythm of life, we often get lost among endless tasks. However, what always remains is the meaning of everything we do - love. You combine many roles ... and businesswoman, and mother, and wife. If you and I now wrote the words that every woman on the planet would read, what appeal would you leave?

I would say to every woman: you are already full. Do not postpone life for later and do not strive for an ideal created by someone else. The true strength of a woman lies in the ability to love herself, her loved ones and the world around her. It is this love that fills us with energy, helps to overcome any challenges and makes us invincible.
