Anastasiia Shakti: “I Am Convinced That Every Woman Needs an Inner System of Coordinates — Knowledge That Helps Her Understand Where to Draw Strength, How to Restore Her Resources, How to Navigate Dif

In recent years, conversations about inner support have increasingly moved beyond the boundaries of psychology. They now draw on different systems of knowledge that offer their own perspectives on human nature, decision-making, life cycles, and the relationship between a person and the space in which they live. It is within this realm that our conversation with Anastasiia Shakti took place — an ambassador of BOMOND VIP fashion magazine, astrologer, psychologist, and founder of the SHREEM women’s club.
In this new interview, we discuss the inner reference points that modern people seek amid constant change, the ability to remain connected with oneself, freedom of choice, patterns in relationships, and why the space in which we live can influence our state far more than we might initially realize. These subjects have long ceased to be merely professional matters. Increasingly, they have become part of a personal search for meaning and self-understanding.
“Vedic knowledge does not help us become someone else. On the contrary, it helps us understand more deeply who we truly are,” says Anastasiia Shakti. This idea captures the deeper meaning behind an approach in which astrology is viewed not as an attempt to explain the future, but as one possible way of looking more attentively at oneself.

Today, the world offers countless answers, yet increasingly leaves people less opportunity to hear their own voice, making the search for personal coordinates one of the most important subjects of our time. Why do people need inner reference points so acutely today?
We live in a time when there are too many external reference points and increasingly less inner clarity. The world is changing incredibly fast: values, social models, the roles of men and women, and our ideas about success, family, and self-realization are all undergoing transformation. What seemed unquestionable yesterday may already raise questions today.
This is compounded by global instability, constant information noise, and life in a state of continuous change. Under these conditions, a person begins to seek not another opinion from the outside, but a point of support within themselves.
That is why the need to understand one’s own nature has become so acute today: Who am I? What can I rely on? Where can I draw strength? How do I move through crises, make decisions, and remain myself amid other people’s expectations? When a person finds answers to these questions, they become less dependent on external circumstances and begin to build their life more consciously, in accordance with their true values.

The modern woman combines dozens of roles and decisions every day. In this rhythm, it is easy to meet other people’s expectations while gradually becoming more distant from oneself. At what point does a modern woman lose contact with herself?
A modern woman truly can do a great deal. She builds a career, raises children, develops her own business, supports those close to her, makes dozens of decisions every day, and often successfully combines different roles. The problem is not that she takes on a lot. The problem is that we are rarely taught how to fulfill all these roles without losing the most important thing — our connection with ourselves.
This connection does not disappear in a single moment. It happens gradually, when we become so immersed in external responsibilities, other people’s expectations, and an endless stream of tasks that we stop hearing our own nature, our genuine needs, and our inner voice.
I am convinced that every woman needs an inner system of coordinates — knowledge that helps her understand where to draw strength, how to restore her resources, how to navigate different stages of life, and remain in harmony with herself. And this is not knowledge that can be reached solely through intuition or logical reasoning. It is deeper knowledge about human nature, its connection with the laws of the Universe and natural rhythms, in harmony with which a person’s potential can unfold.
Vedic astrology is not about belief or predicting the future. It is one of the oldest systems of self-knowledge, helping a person understand their nature, potential, life lessons, and the laws of time. It does not take away freedom of choice. On the contrary, it gives a person a deeper understanding of themselves so that they can make their choices more consciously.
Such knowledge should not simply be accepted on faith — it should be applied. And when a woman begins to live in harmony with her nature and the laws of the Universe, she can feel how her inner state, the quality of her decisions, her relationships, and her life itself begin to change.
This does not mean giving up an active life or one’s ambitions. On the contrary, a woman can pursue her goals, achieve success, be a caring mother, a loving wife, and a successful professional while remaining fulfilled, calm, and happy. This inner state then becomes a source of harmony not only for her, but also for everyone around her.

Astrology is often perceived as a way of looking into the future. Yet increasingly, people turn to it not for ready-made answers, but for a deeper understanding of their own nature. Can astrology become a tool for conscious choice rather than prediction?
Yes, but it is important to understand why Vedic astrology — Jyotish.
Jyotish is not about fatalistic predictions or predetermined verdicts. In the Vedic tradition, it is one of the ancient divine sciences that helps a person understand their nature, potential, life lessons, and the particularities of their path.
Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it not only reveals certain tendencies present at the moment of birth, but also offers practical methods for harmonizing life — upayas. In other words, a person receives not merely an understanding of their strengths and challenges, but also tools for working with themselves, developing the qualities they need, and changing the quality of their life.
This is why Jyotish does not limit a person to the idea, “This is how it will be because it is written.” On the contrary, it helps them understand their nature and interact more wisely with the energies and periods that enter their life.
Of course, Vedic astrology also has a practical dimension: it can help with planning, understanding life cycles, making important decisions, questions of self-realization, and relationships. But its deepest purpose is not simply to predict an event. It is to help a person move beyond automatic patterns, understand who they are, what their path is, and how to live this life in accordance with their true nature.
Every encounter leaves a certain trace, yet sometimes it seems that certain people enter our lives for a reason. Are the patterns of our relationships truly established before we meet a partner?
The encounters and important relationships in our lives are not accidental. Certain patterns of interaction, lessons, and experiences are established at the moment of birth, and through relationships, a person often undergoes their deepest transformations.
At certain stages of life, we move largely according to unconscious patterns — models shaped by upbringing, family, society, and our own experiences. We repeat certain patterns until events and challenges lead us to ask deeper questions: “Why is this happening to me?” “What do I need to understand?” “What lesson am I going through?”
In Vedic astrology, the maturation period associated with Saturn — the planet connected with karma, responsibility, and life lessons — plays an important role in this process.
Traditionally, it is believed that up to approximately the age of 36, a person often goes through a period of accumulating experience, after which a deeper stage of awareness, re-evaluation, and inner transformation begins to unfold.
Therefore, destiny is not a verdict. It may reveal certain themes and experiences we are meant to go through, but the level of awareness with which we experience them changes everything. When a person begins to know themselves, they move beyond automatic patterns and gain the opportunity to build relationships not only from the position of past experience, but from wisdom, freedom, and conscious choice.

A person often explains the events of their life through destiny, although personal decisions and habits that we may no longer even notice can play an equally important role. Where does the line lie between destiny, choice, and habit?
Carl Jung expressed this very precisely: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
According to the Great Knowledge, different types of karma are also distinguished. There are aspects we receive as a given: the family we are born into, certain natural characteristics of the body, and the initial conditions of our lives. We do not choose our parents or the place where we are born, and these factors form a certain foundation for our path.
But there is another part of karma — the part we create every day through our thoughts, decisions, and actions. This is where a person’s freedom of choice manifests itself. The way we respond to events, the qualities we develop, and the decisions we make determine the experience we create for the future.
Therefore, destiny and choice do not contradict each other. Destiny may reveal certain circumstances and lessons we come into this life with, but our awareness determines how we will experience them.
The more a person comes to know themselves, works with their inner patterns, and develops awareness, the more freedom they gain. They stop simply going with the flow and begin to become a conscious creator of their life.
The space in which we live can have a far greater influence on our inner sense of stability than we might initially realize. How does the space in which we live affect our inner state and the events of our lives?
The space in which we live is much more than simply a house or an apartment. In the Vedic tradition, Vastu is a science of harmonizing space and human life in accordance with natural and cosmic rhythms.
To a certain extent, our space reflects our inner state, our life patterns, and the tendencies established at the moment of birth. It can either support the expression of our potential, attracting greater harmony, stability, and opportunities, or create obstacles when its balance is disrupted.
But the most valuable aspect of Vastu knowledge is that we are not passive observers of our destiny. When a person understands the laws of space, they gain the ability to consciously influence the environment in which they live. We can create a space that supports our health, relationships, prosperity, and self-realization.
It is important to understand that space is not only where we live. It is where we sleep, rest, work, eat, and spend most of our time. That is why its quality directly affects our state and the way our energy manifests in life.
Vastu shows how to bring a space into harmony with natural laws so that it becomes not simply beautiful and comfortable, but a genuine source of support, abundance, and favorable opportunities.

Every meaningful conversation has the power to extend far beyond the moment in which it takes place. Sometimes a single phrase can stay with a person far longer than an entire story. What is the main thought you would like to leave every woman with after this conversation?
I would like to remind every woman that the most important journey we undertake in this life is the journey toward ourselves.
In a world filled with external reference points, opinions, and expectations, it is very easy to lose touch with our own nature. Yet within every person there are already answers, potential, and a unique path that is theirs to follow.
Vedic knowledge does not help us become someone else. On the contrary, it helps us understand more deeply who we truly are. When a person comes to know their nature, they stop constantly fighting against themselves and life, begin to accept their strengths, understand their lessons, and make more conscious choices.
I would like to wish every woman not to search for herself in someone else’s scripts, but to discover her own inner support. Because this is where true harmony begins: in relationships, in self-realization, in motherhood, in creativity, and throughout life.
When a woman remains connected with herself, she not only changes her own destiny — she creates a space of harmony for everyone around her.
