Moving from Ukraine to France and then to the United States, building a modeling career, winning beauty pageants, navigating difficult relationships, and spending years in an internal struggle — every stage of Alita Rozhanska’s life became both a challenge and an opportunity to rediscover herself.

Today, she speaks about her past without trying to create yet another perfect picture. Instead, she wants to reveal what usually remains behind the scenes: the loneliness of immigration, the harshness of the modeling industry, the absence of support, emotional dependence, and the journey from inner emptiness to a state in which she is finally comfortable being alone with herself.

A Move After Which Nothing Feels Frightening Anymore

Alita first moved from Ukraine to France at the beginning of the war and later continued building her life in the United States. Each new country meant starting almost from scratch: handling documents on her own, finding housing and work, learning the language, adapting to a different culture, and learning to stand up for her own interests.

“People who have moved to a foreign country on their own, handled their documents, rented a place, found a job, and even learned how to argue in another language are no longer afraid of anything,” Alita says with a smile.

Behind this phrase lies the experience of a woman who has had to begin her life again more than once.

Temporarily Losing Yourself in Immigration

During the early stages of her life in France and America, Alita took practically any job available to pay the bills. Her creative ambitions, modeling, and larger ideas had to be temporarily pushed into the background.

When all your energy goes toward survival and dealing with everyday practical matters, you can lose your connection with the person you once were. You may no longer know who you are beyond work, documents, and daily obligations.

That is exactly what happened to Alita for a time.

In her experience, unlike her life in France, America requires an especially high degree of independence. Here, a person has to grow up quickly, make decisions, and take full responsibility for their life.

Alita describes the United States as a country of paradoxes. Here, a waiter can somehow get a chance and become famous, while someone who was at the height of success yesterday can lose everything and end up without a home.

America offers opportunities, but it offers no guarantees. It can unexpectedly lift a person up and just as unexpectedly test their resilience.

This experience taught Alita not to be ashamed of temporary difficulties or of doing any honest work. Sometimes a person has to do what allows them to get through today so that tomorrow they can return to their dream with renewed strength.

“I tried to fill the echoing emptiness inside me with external symbols of success.”

The Harsh Reality of the Modeling Industry

Modeling and beauty pageants became an important part of Alita’s life. This world helped her believe in herself, recognize her own attractiveness, and allow herself to be seen.

From the outside, modeling can appear to be a world of striking photographs, beautiful dresses, and public attention. But behind every appearance on stage are discipline, physical demands, and emotional resilience.

A model is expected to meet certain parameters, maintain her shape, endure hours-long shoots and shows, competition, criticism, and high heels.

Winning beauty pageants became confirmation for Alita that she was capable of overcoming fear and claiming her place in the world. But not everyone genuinely celebrated her success. Not everyone supported her new ideas.

It was a painful but important lesson. Alita began asking herself why she needed the approval of others so deeply, and why even victories failed to give her a lasting sense of self-worth.

The Need to Prove That I Was Worthy

Eventually, Alita admitted to herself that behind her pursuit of modeling and titles stood more than a love of beauty and creativity.

“Once, modeling and pageants helped me believe in myself. But then I realized that I was not doing it out of self-love. There was a trauma within me and a desire to prove that I was beautiful, worthy, and had the right to be seen.”

External achievements could temporarily quiet her inner insecurity, but they could not fully heal it. After one victory came the need for another, because the admiration of others could not replace self-acceptance.

Alita came to see this as an attempt by her inner child to receive the parental love she had once lacked.

Today, she does not judge herself for this path or diminish her previous achievements. It was an important stage in her struggle with herself, her circumstances, and other people for her place in the world.

But an adult can stop searching exclusively outside herself for the love she did not receive. She can reconnect with her inner child and give herself the acceptance, support, safety, and care she needs.

A Relationship with a Millionaire in Which She Lost Herself

Another turning point was a difficult relationship with a millionaire. Her partner’s financial status did not make the relationship a happy one.

Alita did not feel supported in her ideas, modeling career, or desire for personal fulfillment. She was expected to give up her plans, leave everything behind, and simply remain by his side.

Gradually, she began dissolving into the relationship and losing her sense of self.

Leaving the painful relationship helped Alita understand that a woman needs her own interests, passions, fulfillment, and financial resources. Not to compete with a man, but to preserve her freedom, self-esteem, and inner stability.

When a relationship becomes a woman’s only source of meaning, she risks beginning to live according to her partner’s desires and waiting for him to make her happy. But a man does not have to be her savior or the sole center of her world.

A fulfilled woman has a life of her own — work she loves, personal development, friends, creativity, goals, and financial stability. A man comes into that life as a partner someone wants beside her, someone who wants to support her and share in it.

When the Body No Longer Wants to Fight

For a long time — first in Ukraine and later in France — Alita experienced severe depression. There were periods when she had to literally force herself to keep going, while her body seemed to want to stop.

Today, she connects this experience with accumulated pain and deeply rooted beliefs that prevented her from allowing herself to be happy and fully live her life.

This experience led Alita to an important realization: what matters is not only what emotions we experience, but also how quickly we can notice them, reconnect with ourselves and our bodies, recognize our needs, and help ourselves restore balance.

Self-regulation is not about forbidding fear, anger, or sadness. It is the ability to experience emotions without destroying yourself and, when necessary, to seek professional help in time.

After beauty pageants, a modeling career, and the end of painful relationships, Alita turned her attention toward personal development and inner healing.

Working with subconscious beliefs became an important part of her transformation. In her view, inner beliefs influence emotional states, decisions, choice of partners, and recurring life patterns.

Beliefs such as “I am unworthy of love,” “Happiness must be earned,” “I have to constantly fight for my place,” or “I have to be perfect to be chosen” can quietly govern a person’s life for years.

When we become aware of destructive patterns and gradually replace them with healthier ones, it is our inner state that changes first. Then our decisions, actions, personal boundaries, and relationships with others begin to transform.

A person starts noticing different possibilities, choosing people who are more compatible, and creating a new reality through a new relationship with herself.

“People who have moved to a foreign country on their own, handled their documents, rented a place, found a job, and even learned how to argue in another language are no longer afraid of anything,” Alita says with a smile.

The Echoing Emptiness Behind the Perfect Picture

Recently, Alita came to another important realization: in her pursuit of the perfect image, she had begun to lose depth and identity.

Titles, modeling shoots, public attention, a relationship with a wealthy man, and external signs of success could create a temporary sense of fulfillment. But eventually, the emptiness returned.

“I tried to fill the echoing emptiness inside me with external symbols of success.”

A beautiful image attracts attention. Money provides comfort. Victories bring recognition. But none of these things can replace inner stability.

Today, Alita is in a different place: she feels good being with herself.

This does not mean giving up love, beauty, ambition, or material desires. Now, she wants them for her own enjoyment. They can become a natural part of an already fulfilled life rather than an attempt to escape inner emptiness.

Personal Life and a Woman’s Right to Feel Safe

Alita believes that for a woman, fulfillment and financial independence are important, but so is a harmonious personal life.

The choice of a partner can have a significant impact on quality of life. When an unreliable man is beside a woman and she constantly has to control everything, solve problems, and ensure her own safety, she begins living in a state of tension and survival.

Prolonged stress affects sleep, energy, mood, and overall well-being. In such a relationship, it becomes difficult for a woman to relax, maintain lightness, and express her softness.

In Alita’s view, men often express their potential through achievement, responsibility, and overcoming obstacles. A woman, she believes, flourishes especially where she feels safety, respect, care, and support.

“Comfortable conditions do not mean a life without goals or growth. They mean creating a space in which a woman does not have to fight every day for basic safety or prove her right to be heard.”

Healthy relationships do not deprive a woman of her independence. On the contrary, they allow her to preserve her identity while also feeling that there is a reliable partner beside her.

A Period Without Relationships as a Powerful Resource

Alita no longer sees being without a relationship as loneliness, deprivation, or a forced period of waiting for a man.

It is a valuable stage in which a woman can direct the energy she once gave to a partner back toward herself: her health, appearance, education, creativity, travel, professional development, and meaningful projects.

Such a period creates an opportunity to hear your own desires and understand what kind of life you want, regardless of your relationship status.

“It is never too late to find work you love. It may change over the years because we change ourselves. I do not believe that every person is destined to have one profession or one mission for their entire life.”

Changing your dreams and directions does not mean betraying yourself. It is an opportunity to remain honest with the person you are today.

Exploring Femininity and Sexuality

At this new stage of her life, Alita is deepening her exploration of femininity, attractiveness, sexuality, and relationships between men and women.

For her, femininity is not weakness, helplessness, or the need to conform to stereotypes. It is a connection with the body, emotions, desires, and one’s inner nature. It is the ability to be soft while maintaining boundaries; to accept care without becoming dependent; to express sexuality without losing self-respect.

Alita believes that feminine energy holds immense power. It can inspire, fill a space, bring people together, and help a man reconnect with his enjoyment of life. Many successful men understand the value of a woman whose appeal lies not only in external beauty, but also in depth, emotional maturity, and inner fulfillment.

But this energy should not exist solely for the sake of a man. First and foremost, it belongs to the woman herself and can be directed toward her creativity, development, health, pleasure, and the creation of her own life.

Difficulties as Preparation for a New Chapter

Today, Alita no longer sees obstacles exclusively as punishment or failure.

Sometimes difficulties become an opportunity to stop, rest, and look around. They show us that it may be time to change direction, acquire new knowledge, or develop the qualities needed for the next stage.

Moving taught Alita independence. Immigration taught her how to begin again. Temporary work taught her respect for any honest labor. Modeling taught her discipline and endurance. Beauty pageants taught her the courage to be visible. Painful relationships taught her the importance of preserving herself. Depression forced her to listen to her body. And inner emptiness showed her that genuine fulfillment cannot be obtained solely from the outside.

The Greatest Victory: Returning to Herself

The story of Alita Rozhanska is not only the story of a model, beauty pageant winner, and woman who built a new life after moving from Ukraine to France and later to the United States.

It is a story of returning to her own identity.

Today, Alita wants to create projects that carry not only beautiful form, but also a sense of purpose. She wants to speak with women about inner stability, healing, femininity, sexuality, financial independence, and harmonious relationships.

Once, she wanted to prove to the world that she was beautiful, worthy, and deserving of love. Now, she no longer needs to fill herself with the approval of others.

Perhaps a woman’s greatest victory does not happen on a stage or in front of a camera. It comes at the moment when she stops running from herself, returns to her own depth, and begins building a life not from pain and lack, but from love, inner fulfillment, and conscious choice.
