They sincerely admire his ingenuity, intelligence, evil, daring courage, artistic lies, and ingenuity.

Therefore, he does not appreciate anyone or anything... he goes down to wealth, throwing friendship, loyalty, devotion into the furnace of greed.

Cynicism is a protective reaction of the psyche that devalues painful, traumatic events that provoke strong emotions: guilt, shame, resentment, pity, empathy.
So the psyche blocks aggression directed at itself.
Cynics are not born - they become as a result of traumatic experiences.
Over time, this experience is transformed into a worldview, into a philosophy of life, when a person devalues everything related to morality and ethics.
The reason is experience, which breaks and makes you doubt the truth of values:
- betrayal
- parting
- a personal existential crisis, when a person loses hope, faith in justice... illusions and ideals are destroyed
A person seems to put on the armor of cynicism and thus protects himself from future shocks.
Cynicism saves representatives of such professions as surgeons, investigators, judges, firefighters, rescuers, psychiatrists from burnout.
The specificity of these professions makes you constantly face pain, and that is why cynicism becomes a way of survival for them.
Folk, conditionally "household" psychology divides cynics into two categories:
A domestic cynic is our neighbor who shouts, borrows and does not return;
A ham that climbs without waiting in line and does not notice the old woman on crutches;
A person drinking beer on the playground;
"Friend" who says in your trouble that he is ready to help, but "does not know how" - and therefore does not help;
Colleagues who know that you have been released and... promise to pray for you.
And this is not a complete list.
A professional cynic is a person who, because of his profession, is forced to protect himself from someone else's pain... otherwise he can't stand it.

"IT WAS BEAUTIFUL...
IT'S GOOD THAT HE DIED - ONCOLOGY WOULD HAVE DONE IT ANYWAY" (pathologist)
"OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND DO NOT BREATHE - YOUR TEETH ARE SHAKING FROM THE WIND" (dentist)
Is it good or bad to be a cynic?
A primitive question.
IT'S GOOD TO HAVE THIS MECHANISM
And be able to manage it consciously.
