Svitlana Rozenkova is a psychologist and psychosomatologist who works on the intersection of emotional states and bodily reactions. The practice of the DIGITAL heroine of the BOMOND VIP cover focuses on the connection between internal processes, behavioral scenarios and physical manifestations.

In a new interview, we talk about a modern woman who personifies countless facets, about how a state of chronic tension is formed and why bodily symptoms often become the first marker of internal overload.

We pay special attention to the topic of panic attacks as a reaction of the nervous system to stress.

"Every woman has a great gift - to reveal herself as a woman, to reveal all her parts and to accept them in herself," says Svitlana.

Mrs. Svitlana, I am very close to your opinion that our life is a reflection of what is happening inside us. Have you always felt that way? Tell us, please, what was your personal path to psychology and at what point did you realize that this is not just a profession, but your vocation? How do you see a modern woman? What is her inner portrait in your professional optics?

In the pursuit of achievements, many women have ceased to feel their feminine power, feminine energy and a state of relaxation. Now many live in male energies, thereby creating excessive control and tension in their body.

In my opinion, today women run away from themselves. They constantly prove something to themselves or others, become comfortable, lose themselves for someone or something, because there are many fears inside - not meeting standards or staying alone.

Women forget about lightness, tenderness and relaxation. After all, when a woman is full of energy, she attracts various benefits into her life. When she feels balance and relaxation, she does not need to prove anything to anyone, adjust or betray herself.

But, unfortunately, in our world it is difficult for a woman to remain herself. After conducting hundreds of consultations, I see that women live in fears and tension, and many are afraid to start changing something.

Many seek realization and internal support so as not to depend on a partner. All women are overwhelmed with different roles in the modern world, so most often they put themselves in last place.

The internal portrait of a modern woman is the state: "I must." From this state, it is very difficult to feel relaxation, female lightness and freedom. When a woman lives from the state of "I must", she unconsciously chooses everyone except herself, and thus finds herself in the last place.

My task as a specialist is to help the client, direct the woman to herself, to her feelings and her body.

Can unspoken emotions really affect physical condition? What psychosomatic stories do you work with most often, and how to understand that the symptom has become a signal of internal conflict?

Yes, indeed, all emotions affect our body. When we feel, for example, the emotion of fear, our body reacts immediately. But many do not notice this because they do not understand body language.

Someone's legs are shaking, stomach, head or heart hurt - all this is an indicator of how emotions affect the body and how it reacts immediately.

And when the client, for example, lives in constant fear, then the organ through which he reacts, draws attention to itself with manifestations in the body through pain. But the client does not respond, because most often does not understand and does not see this connection.

After a while, an unpleasant symptom may appear in the body. And when people come for a consultation, I help to find the cause that, in my opinion, triggers the disease in the body, as well as to understand what situation is now worth paying attention to.

After all, people most often live on an automaton, and only the body through pain helps a person to return to himself to pay attention to what is happening in his life.

I work with a variety of stories, but more often women with female diseases, gastrointestinal problems and allergic manifestations turn to me.

In my experience, there are a lot of feedback from clients who saw changes in therapy with me, in which the symptoms in the body weakened.

I also have my own experience with my symptoms, where I also see results. For example, I had very severe and frequent headaches, and in working on myself, I was able to reduce their intensity and frequency due to the fact that I am always interested in finding the cause.

Because of my personal experience, I am now working even deeper with the topic of headaches and migraines.

Today I would also like to reveal the topic of restrictive beliefs. How do they affect a woman's quality of life? Can we say that they are often the cause of internal crises? How to recognize them?A panic attack is often perceived as a "sudden failure," but does it really come out of nowhere? What usually precedes such states and what are the first steps that help you stabilize yourself?

Of course, PA does not arise out of nowhere, as well as any other manifestations in the body that we can feel. Everything has a reason, and a panic attack is no exception. These human sensations during a panic attack are only a consequence that manifests itself through the body. After all, PA is a reaction to strong internal stress.

Many people who later have panic attacks begin to notice their precursors. They can be different, and it depends on the characteristics of the psyche of each person.

Precursors are physical, emotional or cognitive.

When tension, irritation, fatigue or fears gradually accumulate inside, it becomes difficult for a person to endure it. At a certain point, there is an emotional "splash" through the body. But every such reaction has its own reason.

During an attack, the body perceives the situation as a threat, and the psyche triggers a protective mechanism in response to stress. That is why there are various bodily symptoms.

Emotional overload that does not find a way out manifests itself through the body: palpitations, dizziness, lack of air, spasms, etc.

After the attack, the level of stress hormones decreases, and the nervous system gradually recovers. The body returns to normal, and many people experience weakness or sleepiness - this is a natural reaction after a significant expenditure of energy.

The first steps help stabilize the condition.

The first and most important thing I recommend to my clients is to switch the attention from thoughts to reality and return to the feeling of the body. You can hug yourself with your hands and pat yourself lightly on the shoulders for 2-3 minutes, saying: "I'm safe."

It is also important to feel the grounding - pay attention to the external space: objects around, sounds, smells. This helps to shift the focus from thinking to the body and return to the "here and now" state.

Doctors help to cope with the symptoms, the psychologist - to find the root cause, gradually revealing the situations that could trigger this condition.

I propose now to imagine that you and I are somewhere on the ocean shore ... And we have many postcards that we will send to every woman on the planet. What message would you write?

I want to wish every woman, first of all, to remain a woman, to be feminine, to accept her feminine gifts, to reveal her charms. Feel feminine strength, female energy, learn to live in a relaxed state, show coquetry, flirt, be easy, a little naive. And at the same time accept all the dark sides that women so often hide.

I would like every woman to feel her own value and not be afraid to be real. So that every woman feels contact with herself and accepts herself not perfect.

Every woman has a great gift - to reveal (reveal) herself as a woman, to reveal all her parts and accept them in herself. This is women's happiness - to enjoy your condition and live in harmony with yourself.
